BF Decks · Residential decks & remodeling · Waynesboro, PA
Long-Term Organic Growth · Website Development · Digital Acquisition
Built from day one. Still driving new business years later.
When BF Decks launched, it needed a way for homeowners to discover its services, explore its workmanship, and request projects. Aivium Digital's founder built that digital foundation from scratch. Years later, the owners credit its website and organic presence with generating most of the company's leads and revenue.

A digital foundation that became the business's primary growth channel.
What began as a website for a new contractor became a lasting source of customer acquisition. According to BF Decks' owners, digital discovery now accounts for the bulk of incoming inquiries and contributes most of the company's revenue.

The challenge: Building a business without an established digital presence.
BF Decks opened in 2020 as a residential deck builder serving Waynesboro, Chambersburg, Greencastle and the surrounding towns of Southern Pennsylvania. It was entering a competitive home-services market with no established website and no way yet for local homeowners to find it online.
A new deck is a significant purchase, and homeowners want to see a contractor's work before they call. They needed to be able to find BF Decks, understand its services, explore real projects, check that it serves their area and get in touch. The task was not to rescue a struggling business. It was to build its way of winning customers from the start.
The strategy: Make a new business discoverable, credible, and easy to contact.
When a homeowner nearby looked for a deck builder, BF Decks needed to be easy to find, easy to trust and easy to contact. The work was organized around three connected objectives.
-
Establish a credible online presence
A professional website presenting BF Decks' services, experience and workmanship, because homeowners comparing contractors for a major project look for evidence before they pick up the phone.
Clear pages for deck building, deck remodeling and repair, window and door replacement, and interior remodeling, with the company's Pennsylvania home improvement contractor number on every page.
-
Help local homeowners discover the company
The company's first digital marketing presence, built around the homeowners BF Decks wanted to reach: people in Southern Pennsylvania researching deck installation, remodeling and repair.
Service descriptions in homeowners' terms and a defined service area naming Waynesboro, Chambersburg and Greencastle.
-
Turn interest into project inquiries
Real project photos and direct ways to get in touch, so a homeowner who likes the work can start a conversation right away.
A quote request on the homepage, a contact form that promises a reply within one business day, and the phone number and email on every page.
Built in 2020. Still doing its job.
The website launched in 2020 and remains an important point of contact for homeowners discovering BF Decks today. Its lasting value is the foundation it established: clear services, authentic project examples, local relevance, and an easy path to inquire.

What the figures do and don't show
- The original website and digital marketing work were done in 2020 by Steven W. Mills, before he founded Aivium Digital. They are shown as his work, not as work by the company.
- BF Decks' primary lead source and the majority revenue contribution are the owners' own assessment. They are client-reported and not independently audited, and no historical attribution figures exist to verify them.
- No revenue figure, revenue share, lead count, conversion rate or return on investment is claimed.
- The site's built-in WordPress analytics record only part of its traffic, may not cover its full history, and record no inquiries, calls, projects or revenue. They cannot substantiate customer or revenue totals, so they are not used here.
- The study does not separate the website's effect from referrals, repeat customers or the owners' own reputation.
